I would like to introduce myself to you.My name is Lisa McCray.I grew up right here in East Tennessee.I was a single mother of four beautiful and amazing children for a long time.I recently got married and added another child to the family.Together we are raising FIVE children:) I love everything about East Tennessee.I attended The University of Tennessee.I have owned several small businesses here over the years.I am a photographer,a videographer,a blogger,a graphic artist,and a web designer.I have a background in social media and marketing.I guess you could say that I am a multi-tasking momma.I understand what it’s like to be a small business owner.I also understand what it’s like to be a parent,and trying to juggle it all.I started The Parenting Daily Times because as a parent I was looking for a quick and easy way to find the things that I needed for my growing family.My goal in creating the website and printed directory was to make your job as a parent easier.Whether you are re-locating here from another area,or just forming a brand new family,my hopes are that The Parenting Daily Times can help you find all of the things that will help keep your family happy,healthy,and organized.

I have realized that being a parent is the hardest and most rewarding job I have ever had.As my own children are growing older and wiser {so they think} and getting closer to leaving the nest,I look back in amazement at how quickly it passes.Never take a second for granted.These are the best years of your life.Love your babies.Nurture your babies.They will always be your babies.And someday they will have their own.
